~A note from Jonnie:
While I had a wonderfully successful and exciting career in the karaoke industry, I truly wanted to do something else in the next phase of my life and all I knew, is that it had to be something, like singing, by which I would be impassioned . I truly love “all things etiquette”, whether it’s honoring our country’s flag, attending a theatrical performance, dining in elegance or simply holding a door for someone. The truth is….there is etiquette for just about everything…and that doesn’t mean a “hard and fast rule”, rather, there may simply be a “better, more polite, or appropriate way”.
In these highly publicized career fields, I was inspired by the traditional Southern hospitality, social graces and art of fine dining that permeates the uniquely historic and festive “City of New Orleans“.
In developing and creating the business model for The Magnolia School of Etiquette and Protocol, it was important to me that I offer something unique, educational, creative and enjoyable for my clients and students. I focus on quality of presentation and I like to go far beyond what my clients and students expect. Strong organizational skills, competitive spirit and a versatile program keeps me focused on excellence.
Our classes are limited in order to communicate effectively with each individual student in an environment conducive to the subjects I teach.
To meet most school’s requirements, Jonnie is also Live Scan fingerprinted, TB Negative, and CPR/First Aid trained.
Jonnie is a member of Toastmaster’s International and Toast of the Valley Toastmasters, Temecula, CA.
