CHILDREN’S ETIQUETTE PROGRAM

BOYS/GIRLS Ages 7-12

If you’re like most parents, teaching your children good manners and proper dining skills is hard work, takes a lot of patience, and is often met with resistance and a poor attitude. Many families struggle to find time at the dinner table together. They are on the run – meetings, sports events, office, and travel – with little time to focus on these necessary social and dining skills.

The greatest investment you can make is in your children. Busy parents know they can’t do it alone. Smart and time-savvy parents turn to expert help to expand upon their own training module so they can breathe a sigh of relief while focusing on quality time with their child/children.  The results:  “Amazing Moments”!   Students enjoy creatively decorated table-scapes that encourage cultural conversations while dining, as well as role-play, public speaking, crafts, and all of the below topics of education.

The goal of our Children’s Etiquette Program is to:

  1. Help students feel comfortable facing new situations and meeting new people.
  2. To view the table as a conversation-sharing place for family and friends, not just a place to gulp and run.
  3. To create awareness that dining is like learning the rules of anything (sports, hobbies, etc.).  You have to know the rules in order to play a better game.

In this class, children will focus on socialization and dining skills that include:

Social Etiquette:

  • Proper Introductions
  • Handshaking and Eye Contact
  • Mannerly Phrases
  • Public Speaking

  • Thank You Notes
